First off I had my car towed to Konen's Pitt Stop on a Friday night arriving at closing time. I had never been a customer prior to this. I brought it there upon the suggestion of Raaker Tire. I found Konen's to be operated by very professional people who listened carefully and attentively to my explanation of what was wrong with my car. I was told they would have an estimate come Monday or Tuesday (Christmas Eve). One of the men, the manager I believe, stayed late waiting for a friend to pick me up. When it looked as though she wasn't coming, he offered to drive me home. My cell phone was dead, so I would have been stranded. My ride finally showed up after 7pm as we were preparing to leave. He went above and beyond the call of duty, as far as I concerned. For that I am very grateful. Then I got a call Monday with an estimate, explaining in detail the main issue that had caused my car to not accelerate. Then a turn up, fluid exchange and tire care was suggested. A motor mount is still needed but I am postponing this for now. But, I will be back. My car was repaired by Tuesday and ready for me to pick it up. With this quick turnaround I was able to cancel a rental car and save $220. For this expert repair and consideration I will be forever grateful. Thanks to everyone involved. Happy Holidays, Linda G.
