This place was recommended by several members of my family who have been coming here for years and I found out yesterday for myself why. I had a tear in my tire and needed it patched ASAP. I called here the next morning and they were able to squeeze me in without any questions. I took my tire down on my lunch break and by 5pm, I stopped back down and they had the tire repaired and put it back on my car in no time. I was impressed at the level of customer service I received. Having a hole in your tire is a real inconvenience, but these guys took care of everything and the problem was behind me in less than 24hrs. If I would have taken my car to one of the "big names" they would have tried to tell me I needed a new tire - saying they wouldn't be able to patch it - and would have tried to convince me to purchase 4 new tires instead. (Yes - that exact thing has happened to me at the Firestone in Newport when I needed a tire patched last year on a different vehicle)

Besides being honest and a great place to fix your car the owners of Konen's support several non profits in the area and schools. I Recommend them anytime!

Family owned by the Pitts family. Honest, professional mechanics that treat you like a family member or a good friend. They do what is right, allow Rob and his team to earn your business, you won't be disappointed. I've been using Rob and his team since 2010 and won't go anywhere else.

My children and I were rear-ended on I-75 and it nearly tore off my entire exhaust system. I took my SUV straight to Rob and he was able to make it road worthy in no time, though I had to wait 3 weeks for the insurance adjusters to process claims. His wife even gave me a ride home! Talk about full service! As a Realtor who practically lives in my car, I would never take my vehicle anywhere else. I also highly suggest the new synthetic oil change they offer so you don't have to worry about oil changes nearly as often.

I have known Rob for over 20 years and his shop is the only one I ever refer my friends and family to. Very honest, friendly, and personable staff as well!!

Highly recommend Konen's Pittstop! Took my car there because of squeaky brakes, thinking it would cost several hundred dollars and probably needed to be replaced... just to have them call and let me know it only needed to be topped off with some oil. Very pleasantly surprised with their honesty on a topic that I know nothing about and excited to find a place that I know I can trust going forward.

A few months ago Hyundai in Alex. KY said I needed front brakes and calipers to the tune of $600.00+. Took in to Konen's. They said calipers were definitely not needed and replaced brakes for 300.00. Brakes are still operating well. I will soon be taking another vehicle to them. P.S. This is not the first time Hyundai tried to fleece me. Beware.
